The Triangle Tribune: RALT’s Cottages of Idlewild near construction

The Triangle Tribune shared the story of RALT’s $8 million Cottages of Idlewild project, which is bringing 18 affordable homes to Southeast Raleigh’s historic Idlewild neighborhood. Thanks to support from donors like St. Michael’s Episcopal Church and a matching donation from the Tom & Pat Gipson Family Foundation, this project will keep homes affordable for families while preserving the neighborhood’s history. With less than $18,000 to go before the December 15 fundraising deadline, every dollar raised will help families in need of affordable housing.
