CBS 17: Church joins partnership to build affordable housing project in southeast Raleigh

CBS 17 highlighted St. Michael’s Episcopal Church’s $300,000 contribution to the Cottages of Idlewild, an affordable housing project in Raleigh’s historic Idlewild neighborhood. In partnership with the Raleigh Area Land Trust (RALT), the church is helping create 18 homes that will remain affordable for 99 years through a shared equity model. This initiative reflects St. Michael’s commitment to fostering community, preserving cultural heritage, and addressing Wake County’s housing challenges.
